stories he shared during service. i may have editted it abit due to some STM.


An old man calculated how long an average man would live. approximately 75 years. some less, some more, whichever.
he was 55 years old then. so he had just about 20 years to live.
20 x 52weeks in a year, was the amount of times he can spend with his family.
so he went to around 3 toy stores, before he could get the 1000 marbles = 20 x 52.
he put them all in a jar. and day by day he will throw one marble away, to let him realize how many marbles he had left before he may die.
by the time the last marble was thrown out of his window, the man had quit his job, and spent the rest of his days with his dear ones.


big stones, grain and water.
a science teacher was having his usual class on a thursday morning.
he had a big jar, he filled it with big stones first. he then asked the class:" is the jar full?"
the class responded:"YES!"
he took out a bag full of grain and poured it into the jar. he asked the same question.
he got back the same answer.
now, he poured in a jug full of water into the jar, the water did not overflow out of the jar.
he asked a different question:" what have you learnt from this experiment?"
the eager beaver of the class, waved his hand frantically to get the attention of his teacher.
"Yes, Sam, you have an answer?"
"Water makes things full! Like my tummy!"
the teacher laughed. "Good answer Sam, but you have to put in the big stones FIRST. not the other way round."

life is the jar, big stones are what we place importance, value and love into.
i'm ready to set some good goals this year. (:
