oh no. i blog like every 5-6 days for a weeks now.. haha. guess i'm just finding it kind of a hassle to do this. but again.. it does help me remember what've i been doing. LOL.
well. i ask myself. am i being forgetful or lazy?!! arghhhh.... ok. i'm done with complaining. convert all that anger into something productive. YAHHHHHHHH!!

this is another story i read online. about needs. well, only advice to you. if you already have the thought of viewing that cute guy's or pretty gal's blog. read on... hehe. :D

Fine Examples

My mother through her fine example instilled within me the desire to help others. She taught me to notice those whom others ignore. She was compassionate.

The railroad tracks were within a mile of our house. "Beggers" and "Bums" (as they were known) frequently would knock on the doors in our neighborhood in the summer asking for food. They were often turned away or rebuked. Others simply ignored the knocks.

My mom always went to the door smiling. She would invite them to stay and have something to eat. She would have me open up the card table and carry a chair out onto the covered side porch. There was a nice view into the flower gardens, and it was cool even on the hottest days.

She would bring a red and white checkered tablecloth and set the table as carefully as she did for any company. She would pour their coffee and pile their plate with food and dessert. Usually she sent a packed lunch with them when they were ready to go too. Sometimes she would take the newspaper to those who asked about work.

She listened to those who wanted to talk. She never asked what led them to be in this predicament. It did not matter. SHE ONLY SAW THE NEED. Some thought she should not extend this courtesy. She would say, "In the depression when my father was scouring around for ANY work to feed us, thoughtful people fed him. I am just repaying their kindness. I cannot offer them money, but I can see they do not leave hungry and discouraged."

My mom was quite a lady.

be it you're a man or woman, in life you know there are people around you having that need you can meet. women, as you know are sensitive. well, don't ask me why. God made them that way. HAHA. but we as men, let US all be sensitive to those around us also. lol.

btw, children's day is coming. i'm getting all geared up. heheheh. i try to blog more regularly, ya? chow!!

no.1: this has gotta be a habit. cant stop suaning people who reactions all very interesting. haha.

no.2: this is a habit. styling my hair before i go out.

no.4: weird thing arh.. i can only poop in my own house toilet.

RELIEF LAH. thank God for the good feedback and grades i got back from ms kurup about my telephone skills, outline and oral presentation. if not for it, wahhh... no idea how i have the morale to study for lsm. haha. and today maybe our last lesson with her. :/
an awesome careperson. finds the best out of people. a good listener. hmm. but she would still probably see us. haha.
and i cant wait for next semester to start already! gonna take cds. new modules. new tutors. oh please. i ask for good ones. NO ALIENS. NO UMBRIDGES. thank you.

hi all! i thought i had not blogged for days. it has just been yesterday. and yesterday was singapore's national day. oh well. not a patriot. but i do love sights and sounds here. the people. that probably sums up that i love singapore? haha. but dont know leh.. maybe i've never really done something for my nation? except to poop in it. hah.
oh. but do you'all remember there was this drama series focussing on the japanese occupation days, the before and after of it? i think those days when the drama was on tv.. those were the days i shed my tears for my country. forgive me my fellow countrymen.
how i spent it: eat, drink, sleep. oh and watch the live telecast. had a nice little reunion with my uncle and his family. man. my cousin's already a mum. gotta catch up sis! *she'll kill me if she sees this* haha.

and today. today was just loads of crap in school. pom was.. urgh... the old man played knick-knack-paddy-whack wateva on my toes. guess what was he laughing at today? he said" how certain can certain things get?" and he laughed non-stop at that. HUH? some of you may have the same sentiments as i. haiz.. his level of humor is abit out of reach for me ah. catch no ball. or worst still. no ball to even catch. LOL. okay thats lame.
fun part came in macro man. my group just does all the mcqs. and boy did we turn things topsy turvy in class. started out solemn and dead thanks to E.T. but my group prevails as the quirkiest people exists in my group. whahaha. had a great laugh. set off for lunch and the rest of school was quick to finish and headed off to marine parade.

2nd part of the day was.. solitary. kinda for a while. knew alvin couldnt have been home so early due to SOT. *woooh! gonna be there soon! in a fewe years. haha* so went to the nearby library to chill and study. studied till i felt my brain was rejecting econs decided to pick up random books to read, until i feel asleep! lol. typical me nowadays. sleep anywhere as long as the environment permits to so. sleep sleep sleep. some transition took place and wha la.. at the street soccer court. got kicked in the b****s twice. wasnt pleasant but no worries. not my 1st 2 times anyway. haha. had more of a training session. more transitions after that and here i am.

to be an atmosphere architect. will i am? gotta start practising!

well. there's always a first and start to everything. so let it be a good one. YAY. finally a blog. random. haha. but its thanks to Zoe today for helping me with the blogskin, editting etc. so here's a big THANK YOU. :)
must say today was a supreme spring cleaning session by pastor mike connell, a man powerfully led by the Holy Spirit. responded today, cried loads and reminded me afterwards that our zone nsl soccer team joked about me having some power over the rain. (cos always when im there, it rains. haiz. haha.) explains all the tears as manifestation. haha. and more than that was presence of God was ever stronger after ministry time when pastor derek was led by the spirit. witnessed holy laughter and fell under the power of God myself. indeed God is good. :)
erm. after ministry svc, went jia rong's hse. had loads of fun.
praise God for the powerful blessings He has given to me this day as each and every single word that came from that ministry worker touched me straight through to the heart. Abba Father, you've allowed me to see more of You. and You knw, that's to make me want more of You.
